To Subscribe to the St. Clair County Mail List (Bookmark, or print and save these instructions)

LIST MODE Most people subscribe in List mode because traffic is light.

1. Send an e-mail message with the word "subscribe" (without the quotation marks) as the only text in two (2) places: a.) the Subject line, and b.) in the body of the message to [email protected]. You will receive a Welcome note which you should print for future reference--this may take some time depending upon "traffic".

2. After you received the Welcome notice, you may then post a message to the St. Clair County ILGenWeb Project Mail List by sending it to [email protected]. [Note the similarity between these two addresses!]

Some e-mail address books will automatically complete an e-mail address when you type the first few letters in the To: area. Be sure your question goes to the List, not the Subscribe area. Note the difference in the e-mail address for subscribing and posting a Mail List question.

Digest Mode If you wish to subscribe in DIGEST MODE: mail will be packed together in bundles and delivered every few days. Send the same subscribe message (subscribe) to [email protected]. After you received the Welcome notice, you may then post a message to the St. Clair County ILGenWeb Project Mail List by sending it to [email protected]. [Note the similarity between these two addresses!]
